The Auto Insurance offers 6 coverage options. All coverages include the Third Party Liability insurance required by law (L.A.M.), also known as WA. The WA only covers damage to vehicles and the property of others. If you wish to insure damage to the vehicle itself, you can choose between one of the All Risk coverages, also known as Casco.

The WA, WA Pro and WA Extra all cover the Third Party Liability insurance required by law (L.A.M.) and are usually more popular for vehicles older than 5 years. The WA Pro and WA Extra also cover injury to passengers under the Personal Accident benefit. In addition, the WA Extra covers damage to your vehicle caused by an uninsured motorist.

The WA Casco L is the most basic All Risks coverage and limits the Collision damage coverage to Fl. 10,000. The WA Casco S product covers the vehicle up to the insured value but with a value depreciation for wear and tear. The WA Casco 1 and WA Casco 3 provide the same coverage as the WA Casco S but with new replacement value coverage. Instead of applying depreciation following a total loss, your vehicle will be replaced as new, up to the insured value, for incidents that occur during the first 12 months (WA Casco 1) and 36 months (WA Casco 3). Only new vehicles purchased at a local dealership are eligible for the WA Casco 1 and WA Casco 3 products.

Damage to the insured motor vehicle due to a collision with another motor vehicle or object.

Loss or damage to the insured motor vehicle caused by something other than a collision such as theft, storm, fire, explosion, or lightning.

Refers to the Third Party Liability insurance required by law that covers bodily injury and property damage caused to others with the insured vehicle.

The Personal Accident benefit provides compensation to the vehicle’s occupants in the event of a disability or death caused solely by an accident involving the insured motor vehicle.

Covers collision damage to the insured vehicle caused by an uninsured motorist while participating in traffic.

If your application has been approved and you’ve paid for the insurance, you will receive an email with a link to download the Mobile Insurance Pass to your smartphone.

Check the accident scene is safe and call Forensys immediately.  If anyone is injured, Forensys will call the police and an ambulance if necessary. If the injuries are severe, please proceed to call the police while you wait on Forensys’ arrival. Ensure you collect the name, address, phone number, registration number and insurer of any third party(s) and the contact details of any witnesses. Have this information at hand in case the Claims department asks you for it.
